# Storefront API

The Storefront API lets you build your own webshop on top of a Unipage
restaurant: your own UI, with Unipage as the source of truth for the catalog,
opening hours, order slots, prices and orders.

```txt title="Base URL"
https://api.unipage.eu/storefront/v1
```

The restaurant is resolved from your key: there is no restaurant id in the
URL. See [Keys and CORS](/storefront/keys/).

## Routes

| Route | Key | |
|---|---|---|
| `GET /store` | public | [Get the store](/storefront/api/store/retrieve/) |
| `GET /menu?orderType=&at=` | public | [Get the menu](/storefront/api/menu/retrieve/) |
| `GET /products/{id}?orderType=&at=` | public | [Get a product](/storefront/api/products/retrieve/) |
| `GET /schedule?orderType=&days=&products=` | public | [Get the schedule](/storefront/api/schedule/retrieve/) |
| `POST /cart/quote` | public | [Quote a cart](/storefront/api/cart/quote/) |
| `POST /orders` | secret | [Create an order](/storefront/api/orders/create/) |
| `GET /orders/{id}` | secret | [Get an order](/storefront/api/orders/retrieve/) |

Public key routes are called from the browser. Secret key routes are called
from your server. Unipage can also [push your orders](/storefront/webhooks/)
to your server as they are paid and prepared.

> **One source of truth**
>
> The schedule and the quote are computed by the same code that validates and
> prices an order: the slots you show are the slots an order accepts, and the
> quote is the amount the order charges.

## Conventions

- Money is a number in the restaurant's currency (EUR): `4.5`.
- `at` is a UTC unix timestamp in seconds; `date` is `YYYY-MM-DD` and `time`
  is `HH:MM`, both in the restaurant's timezone.
- All ids are opaque strings. Do not parse them.

## Next steps

- **Quickstart** — The smallest working storefront: menu, quote and order, with code.
- **Checkout flow** — From menu to paid order, in the order a storefront makes the calls.
- **Payments** — Let the restaurant's provider collect the money, the restaurant itself, or you.
- **Order webhooks** — Signed events when an order is placed, paid and prepared.
- **Customer messages** — Let Unipage message the customer, or send your own.
- **API reference** — Every route, parameter and field, with request samples.
