By default Unipage messages the customer of a Storefront API order exactly as
it messages a customer of the restaurant’s own webshop: the order confirmation,
the message that the kitchen started (mail, SMS or push), and the review
request. Each one is only sent when the restaurant has it switched on. They are in
the order’s locale (nl, fr, en, de or es, default the restaurant
language).

{ "customerNotifications": false }Unipage then sends the customer of that order nothing at all, now or later,
whatever the restaurant has switched on. The order shows the choice as
customerNotifications: false. The restaurant’s own notifications (new order mail,
push in its apps) are not affected.
Use order webhooks to know when to send what:
| Message | Send it on |
|---|---|
| Order confirmation | order.created with isPaid: true or paymentType: "offline", or order.paid for an online order |
| Payment failed | order.status_changed to PAYMENT_FAILED |
| Being prepared | order.status_changed to CHEF_STARTED |
| Ready | order.status_changed to CHEF_COMPLETED |
| Declined or cancelled | order.status_changed to DECLINED or CANCELED |
